The wine routes

Our charming hotel in Queyrac is located in the heart of the Médoc wine region. This region is known for its "thousand and one châteaux." Châteaux refer to the wines and wineries, but some also feature actual châteaux to discover. During your getaway on one of the many wine routes, you'll pass some of the most famous, such as Château Lascombes, Château Saint-Estèphe, Château Lafite Rothschild, as well as several châteaux in Queyrac, including Château Carménère and Château Saint-Hilaire. Cordouan Lighthouse

In half an hour's drive, you can be at the Port du Verdon and reach the Cordouan Lighthouse. This lighthouse is one of a kind and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Since 1611, the Cordouan Lighthouse has watched over sailors and the Gironde estuary. Since that time, the Cordouan Lighthouse has been inhabited and maintained by guards, all year round. From Montalivet, you can also go on charming hikes or bike rides. The town of Montalivet is also known for its large pine forest where you will enjoy walking and organizing picnics. Its summer market awaits you every morning from June to September.

The town of Soulac-sur-Mer is about a 20-minute drive from our hotel. You can take advantage of the large beaches for strolling or strolling, but you can meet up for a pleasant family visit to the Soulac villas.
